Service Dog Training
Structured training plans and one-on-one coaching for disabled individuals working to owner train their service dog. Based out of Portland, Oregon.
What is a service dog?
A service dog is a dog that has been individually trained to perform a specific task or work to mitigate their handlers disability. The dog must also be trained to be neutral and under control around any distractions that may arise in public.
You must be disabled AND your dog must be task trained in order for your dog to meet the legal definition of a service dog. I do not train dogs to be "service dogs," for the sole purpose of flying, claiming a dog is a service dog in order to fly is a federal offense.
Types of Service Dogs I Work With
- Autism service dogs for adults
- Psychiatric service dogs
- Mobility assistance service dogs
- Medical response service dogs
